Our Divisions Explained: A Clearer Way to Support Your Projects

A&S Group has grown quickly over the last few years, with more clients trusting us to handle complex, safety-critical projects. To reflect that growth, we’ve renamed two of our divisions so their names clearly match the work they deliver.

Asset Management is now A&S Building Safety Projects
Our former Asset Management division is now
A&S Building Safety Projects

The new name reflects our focus on large-scale building safety and fire remediation work, including cladding remediation, FRAEW-related projects, and external fire safety upgrades. Acting as Principal Contractor, the team manages complex safety projects end-to-end – from planning and access through to delivery and sign-off.

Minor Works is now A&S Project Services
Minor Works has become A&S Project Services.

The work has evolved far beyond “minor” works. This division now manages a wide range of construction and refurbishment projects, often across multiple sectors. From structural upgrades to full building renovations, A&S Project Services delivers tailored schemes with full compliance, warranty, and Principal Contractor capability where required.

Our Other Divisions – What They Do
Alongside the renamed divisions, A&S Group continues to operate a number of specialist teams that support clients across the full building lifecycle

A&S Maintenance:

A&S Maintenance delivers both planned and reactive maintenance to keep properties in excellent condition.

The team focuses on keeping buildings safe, functional, and presentable – supporting everyday operations with reliable attendance, efficient repairs, and ongoing upkeep to reduce downtime and future issues.

A&S Compliance:

A&S Compliance specialises in fire door safety.

Services cover fire door inspections, remedial works, and full fire door installations, with a clear focus on legal compliance and life safety. The team helps clients stay aligned with regulations while protecting both people and property.

A&S Building Safety Projects:

As above, A&S Building Safety Projects leads on major fire remediation schemes.

This includes cladding replacement, FRAEW-driven works, and external safety upgrades. Acting as Principal Contractor, the team coordinates complex sites, multiple stakeholders, and stringent safety requirements to deliver compliant outcomes at scale.

A&S Project Services

A&S Project Services manages construction and refurbishment projects across sectors.

From internal reconfigurations to full refurbishments, the division delivers high-quality, defect-controlled projects with strong programme management and clear communication.

J A Access:

J A Access is our scaffolding division.

With over 50 years of combined experience, the team provides safe, compliant access solutions for commercial, residential, industrial, and heritage projects. J A Access supports A&S Group schemes and also works as a standalone scaffolding provider for external clients.
