Fire Remediation & Cladding Upgrade Across Cardiff Residential Blocks 

This project delivered full fire remediation across several residential blocks in a Cardiff suburb. With safety, coordination, and technical accuracy at the core, the works required careful planning, resident communication, and seamless delivery from start to finish.

Situation

The development required phased fire safety remediation after the previous principal designer and contractor withdrew, leaving essential works incomplete. The buildings needed compliant cladding removal, fire-stopping upgrades, and structural repairs, all while maintaining safe access and minimising disruption to residents.

The Solution

 We designed and installed access scaffolding, managed the full site setup including compounds and welfare, and carried out cladding removal and reinstatement to current fire standards. Render repairs and multiple fire-stopping barrier installations were completed in line with ongoing client instructions. Resident management and clear liaison ensured smooth progress throughout every phase.

The Outcome

The project reinstated safety compliance, improved building performance, and restored confidence for both residents and stakeholders. The completed works strengthened fire protection across all blocks and provided a robust, fully certified remediation delivered to a high standard.
