Access works enabling full facade inspection at a central office development

This project required providing specialist access support for a full facade inspection at a busy office site. The work demanded precise planning and controlled site management to keep the area safe and operational while inspection teams carried out each phase.

Situation

The full facade of a busy office building required inspection, but the location presented immediate access challenges. With no suitable laydown area for materials and limited parking for vehicles, the project demanded precise planning to maintain safety and minimise disruption to the surrounding area.

The Solution

Following a detailed site survey and approval of our RAMS, our team established a controlled working environment that allowed the works to progress safely. Materials were delivered to site and stored using a temporary tube-and-fitting rack constructed within the underground car park. Footway traffic was redirected through a managed system to protect the public, enabling efficient movement of equipment despite the constrained space.

The Outcome

Strong coordination across the office team, yard staff, and site operatives ensured each phase was delivered smoothly and within the required timeframe. The project was completed safely, without disruption to the public, and handed over on schedule, a result the client was extremely satisfied with.
