Composition and manufacture
Door leaves are 45mm thick, manufactured from 1.2mm zintec steel, to BS EN 10152:2003 “Electrolytically zinc coated cold rolled steel flat products”. Standard core is expanded and bonded within the door under pressure, giving lightweight rigid construction. Frames are manufactured from 1.6mm zintec steel with butt jointed and welded corners as standard.

Size and weight
All doors are bespoke and can be manufactured to individual requirements and specification. The requirements for emergency and panic exits, to BS EN EN 1125:2008 “Building hardware. Panic exit devices operated by a horizontal bar, for use on escape routes” and BS EN 179:2008 “ Building hardware. Emergency exit devices operated by a lever handle or push pad, for use on escape routes” , can be accommodated within the door and hardware configuration.”

Appearance
Doors and frames can be supplied pre-primed for finishing on site or polyester-powder coated as standard, with anti-vandal or marine-grade resistance options available.

Thermal Insulation
Doorsets available with insulation ratings up to 1.63W/m2K for buildings needing to comply with Approved Document L2.

Sound properties
Tested by Salford University to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 “Acoustics. Measurements of sound insulation in buildings and of building elements”. Levels of sound insulation up to 49dB.

Sitework
Professional installation by technicians fully accredited to CITB-CSCS NVQ level 2.
