BUSYBODY™

The BusyBody™ framework system offers significant benefits to both the coachbuilder as manufacturer and the fleet transport manager as end-user.

To achieve a uniquely strong, attractive and cost effective vehicle body, BusyBody™ provide the ideal solution. BusyBody™ use a patented non-mechanical fixing procedure to fasten body panels securely between specially designed aluminium and plastic extrusions. Tried and tested over many years, like all well-designed products it is simple in both concept and execution resulting in an extremely stiff and versatile system.

It can be economically applied to an almost infinite range of industrial or retail enclosures (sales kiosks). Uses have and do include; vending kiosks, vehicle bodies, machine enclosures, site cabins, and newspaper stalls etc. – the list is endless.

Components

The five main benefits obtainable by using a BusyBody™ framework kit are as follows:

  • Labour saving assembly
  • Improved appearance
  • Greater strength and longevity
  • Reduction of overhead expenditure
  • Ease of repair and maintenance

BusyBody™ can be supplied in two configurations to suit both budget and design flexibility

Full System
The full system consists of four off base rails, four off cantrails and four off pillars. These are secured to castings in each of the eight corners. This is the ideal mode of construction, allowing both builder and end-user to take full advantage of the framework system concept.
